Okay, so I admit I started this blog to write about particular subject...my writing. However, as I got older (although it was only by a couple years or so), I realized that writing is not my only passion. I am passionate about several things-music, helping others, and the rights of the unborn. So it was with this revelation that I decided to expand what I write about on this blog.
Sometimes we focus on one particular thing in our lives, thinking that this will gain us the most success in that thing, whether it's a career, starting a family, or a hobby. But that's not always true. For instance, I always tried to focus my time and efforts toward my writing, but once I joined youth band, I no longer could focus only on my writing...I had to focus on my music too.
I always thought that if I didn't spend every waking moment writing, then it meant I wasn't a writer anymore. As I got older and had other hobbies and interests in my life, I recognized that I was a writer. I just had to find a way to balance my hobbies and interests. I still write a lot, and have in fact completed two books and two shorts stories, but I have also learned to play new songs on the piano and write poems and songs amongst other things.
